When I went on a bike ride with my mum to Casa de Campo in Madrid, we came across a sign that said Pasarela de la Muerte (Gateway of Death). It said that there used to be a bridge here that was built at the end of the Spanish Civil War by the Francoists who were winning the war. This is the top part of the bridge that you can still see. Life was pretty tough for boys then because they had to go to train and be soldiers from 7 years old and stayed in the army till they were 60. These are the weapons I made for my presentation.
