Keep Breathing: Today's Goals Achieved
http://keepbreathingblog.blogspot.com/2007/11/todays-goals-achieved.html
Keep Breathing. The sun will rise tomorrow. And you never know what the tide may bring." "Castaway". Saturday, November 3, 2007. I know today is only one day, but I actually achieved my goals today! My mom ended up waking me around 9:30am, and I was out of bed before 10! From my parents' house, I ran for the first 3 minutes or so, then walked some. I ran 2 other times, including down one full street which was probably about 400 yards or so. I know it isn't that far, but it was for me! I actually need to ...

This is our designated smoking area and due to a lack of smokers I usually have this space to myself. I watch the bird and wonder what its purpose is. What is its reason for existence? There again, perhaps the sparrow i...

This Metal Sky: January 2007
http://thismetalsky.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 23, 2007. The Chief called me into his office about a week ago. What have I done? I will have to buy an entire wardrobe as I have virtually no dress clothes suitable for the postion. I spoke with the detective sergeant the other day. He seems to be a sharp guy who knows what's going on. I know the Lt. over the division and he is a very sharp guy with a lot of investigative experience. It's funny. You never know what life will hand you from one minute to the next. Links to this post.

This Metal Sky: April 2007
http://thismetalsky.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 28, 2007. 1) My son is growing up. I forget how much he has changed over the years until I look at old pictures of him. 2) In life there are some people who won't like you no matter what you do. 3) Sometimes even though you do all you can it still doesn't feel like it's enough. 4) The unit I was stationed with in the Marines is now fully manned with people I don't know. They have had a 100 percent turn over in personell since I was stationed there. 11) The fact that thirteen years have co...
