42 Ways to Add Joy to Your Life. 365 Days of Joy. Lookfor.create.find.hopefor.do.celebrate. Laquo; For my friends. December 9, 2013 by Allison. I am home sick today (just a cold I think) and it’s rainy and gray outside. What a perfect day to resurrect the joy blog! I have to thank a new friend for reminding me that I DO have a blog, it is about JOY, and it IS a worthy undertaking both as a practice for myself and as a celebration of the love and community that I hold so dear (that’s YOU! I hope there wil...

Attending to the Spirit in the neighborhood. Imagine a World… →. Far from Mt. Auburn Street. June 30, 2015. I haven’t been blogging about Watertown recently because I haven’t. This summer, I want to make time to hear about others’ journeys. Tell me about your road trip. Tell me about the roads you carry in your heart. Tell me how those roads brought you to this one. I’ll be richer for it. View all posts by amymccreath →. This entry was posted in Community. And tagged East Watertown. A stage full of hope.

Good coffee helps, too. August 16, 2016. July 30, 2016. June 30, 2016. A stage full of hope. April 14, 2016. All through the month of F...

Attending to the Spirit in the neighborhood. Newer posts →. Of Graves and Grace. October 28, 2015. Last Saturday, I traipsed around Mt. Auburn Cemetery with a group of tweens on a scavenger hunt. It was an amazing journey, organized by a father of one of the tweens. Attending to the Spirit in the neighborhood. Far from Mt. Auburn Street. Seeds of Change →. Imagine a World…. July 27, 2015. It was my pleasure to spend a morning touring the Perkins School for the Blind recently. Our tour guide, Kevin, led us masterfully through the story of the founding and development of this amazing institution, and Jeff Migliozzi, who teaches at the school, added valuable information about the current work happening in the classroom and out. What are you willing to do to make it so?

A couple weeks ago, as I was driving through my apartment complex, I saw something out of the corner of my eye. There was a man around my age sitting on a picnic table by himself, holding over a dozen red and white balloons. He seemed to be waiting. Whatever the message, that display of vulnerability and love will stick with me. In my religious/spir...
