Our last day in Rome was like a contest to see how many of the ancient sites of Rome could be packed into one day. We began the morning at the Vatican. They had several hikes you could take but our time was short so we did a little 30 min hike. We could hear the cow bells below as we looked down at the small town at the base of the mountain. At this point on the trip our group of travelers is growing weary of the early mornings and whipping through sites like it was a race. Those of us that frequented the hotel bar after dinner were especially grumpy. Florence left me wanting so I was eager to take in as much of Rome as i could, weariness be damned! This past weekend was jam packed and filled with lots of fun. Friday was good chill time, watched the battle of the bay series while waiting for ed to come over. Then got to hangout with the neighbors and watch daybreakers, I don't think I like vampires they're too ghastly looking. I didn't really get it and then i fell asleep haha.
