Jim and I rolled over to the start to sign up and saw there were only 5 or so other riders in the parking lot. Where was everyone? I was very excited to have a fellow comrade to swap stories with, it's not every day you meet someone who's been though the same "boot camp" schedule and environment you have. We filled our bottles with fresh water and rode up the final big climb of the day. August 16, 2009 at 12:50 PM. Now youre into Ranndoneuring, you will be doing PBP next! Merry Christmas to Me. Christmas came early to me this year. My credit card an. D REI teamed up and got me these things:. Keen Targhee waterproof boots,. Mountain Hardware gaiters,. And Atlas Electra snowshoes. Way to go Santa! So yesterday Zoe and I took all the new cool stuff and went up to Mt. Hood for some fun in the snow. We went to Trillium Lake. Which is a nice, though somewhat short, loop around the lake with some supposed views of Mt. Hood. Note - I did not take this photo). Big views in Idaho.

Last Sunday, on a whim, I signed up for the Run Like Hell 1/2 Marathon. Good lord, what was I thinking? Seriously, when the alarm went off at 5:30am, I did get out of bed, but quickly sat on the floor by my dresser drawer full of running clothes, and said to myself.no one will know if I don't do this race. No one will know! And I could just sleep in. Oh yes, beautiful sleep, maybe even with dreams. Oh please let me go back to bed. Two girls that would NOT shut up. So chatty! Bike Tour Day 14 Clayton. Today we rode the road the went on and on and on. We rolled out of Walsenburg extra early, at 6:00 am and the first 55 miles passed in a blink. It seems to do this every morning these days, we get 50 miles in and sort of ask ourselves, what just happened? Then the fun stopped. We got on the final road into Clayton, the John L.
