So over the last three weeks or so, I've started so many posts that somehow never got posted. One was about the Hardy Boys and was titled "Hardy, Har, Har." I slay me! One final thought. First Day. . . And you should if you haven't, you'll know that being too nice is just a recipe for paper airplanes and spit wads. So I start out like Miss Viola Swamp. And although I think it's necessary, I sort of hate having to be that way, you know? But basically, going over syllabi is just plain boring for everyone in the room, including me. I guess I'm always glad when the first class meeting is over and I can think about the second and all the things I really love about teaching. A president, a King.

I Want. . . A wrap skirt. Having been inspired by Libby Dibby. And by a conversation with Cheri,. I really want to make a reversible wrap skirt. And I think that this one will fit the bill. Isn't it so me? This looks to me like it will be a quickie project; maybe I can get one done before mom arrives for her visit next week. I'm just so excited. Why does this have to be difficult? It sounds like I need a good therapist, doesn't it? Fenway is especially lovey today- do I spend the day cuddling with him?

Wednesday, October 15, 2008. Mom goes to Portland to check up on things. Well for one couple I think we were invisible. They held NOTHING back, including both exiting naked and he was carrying a very sharp sword! We just happen to be looking out the window at the view of the city and came upon this. Kelli (Nik's roomate), Nik, Brittney. I stopped in Longview on the way home and saw my Nephews Tanner, (MAX), Dillon. These are Jason Mills' sons (Chris' brother), he is married to Stacey.

Wednesday, October 17, 2007. Jammers 1st formal dance. Last Friday night Jamison went to Homecoming. He went with a really good friend named Haley who has (had) a boyfriend until the night before. He goes to a different school, so it was okay with him that she went with Jami. She is older and drives, they left in a Hummer, that is his friend Brocks. They went to Rainfores. Monday, October 20, 2008. When Chris went hunting me and the kids went up to see Grandpa B. We went to the drive in to pick up some nostalgic memorbillia that Jami had to have! Try an 8 foot by 6 foot A&W Root Bear and a huge clown head. After that we went to dinner and then home to visit for a bit. We try to visit as much as we can. He is coming here for Thanksgiving and then we are all going to Bend, OR for Christmas. I do think that I am shrinking or my kids are getting really tall. Holy cow!
