https://paidtypos.wordpress.com/2010/11/15/physical-burn
If you're paid to write, don't make typos! This typo comes from PopPhoto.com, the website for photography magazine Popular Photography. The story retells a story from NPR about a photographer using a homemade camera to follow the sun and create images with a literal sunburn. The writer on PopPhoto.com did well except a simple mistake with an adverb. 8220;… he is literally utilizing the sun to physical burn his photographs …”. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Filling out the ballot | Paid Typos
https://paidtypos.wordpress.com/2010/11/22/filling-out-the-ballot

That seems a little counterproductive if you are trying to win the election. We find out what they meant to write in the next sentence. 8220;Yet even if the state were to throw out …”. Oh, that makes sense. He wants the ballots that were improperly filled out to be thrown out not filled out. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Next post →. Enter your...

Thank you and goodbye | Paid Typos

If you're paid to write, don't make typos! Thank you and goodbye. If you’ve followed this blog, you will have noticed that it has been stagnant for a couple of months. Unfortunately, when I started this blog, I was hoping to get more participation and contributors, but alas, it was not to be. The upkeep of this blog consumed too much time since it was a secondary blog and each post required an image that I had to create. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Loving Life: Salt Lake Temple Letterpress
http://rachel-call.blogspot.com/2011/05/salt-lake-temple-letterpress.html
Salt Lake Temple Letterpress. I really love letterpress things. They are so detailed yet so simple and beautiful. I absolutely love this print of the Salt Lake Temple. And would love one on my wall! This amazing poster was made by hand, character by character, and took about 100 hours to make. I love the details of it and I especially love that it is all done with typefaces. Letterpressing is really an art and this is an incredible example of how beautiful it can be. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
