Ray Tracing From Scratch | Adventures in Coding
https://adventuresincoding.wordpress.com/2009/01/18/ray-tracing-from-scratch
I learn, you learn, we all learn! Laquo; Floating point accuracy, lesson learned. Ray Tracing From Scratch. I’ve been sifting around and learning some more “advanced” topics. I’ve some calculus (limits, derivatives, integration, etc), lots of vector math, quaternions, video game lighting algorithms and other stuff. I’ve given myself a goal of writing a ray tracer from scratch. It would be a useful learning experience as well as a useful tool in the future. Feed You can leave a response. From your own site.

I learn, you learn, we all learn! Laquo; Delegates, Invokers and Dispatchers, Oh MY! Application Settings and How To Access Them. I’m pretty proud of this. I’ve created a class that handles the Dispatcher in a nice and clean manner saving on retyping code repeatedly. I’ve designed it so that the method the Dispatcher executes displays a “start” and “finished” message through a StatusBar, for long SQL queries. I think it’s pretty self explanatory here. I learn, you learn, we all learn! Delegates, Invokers and Dispatchers, Oh MY! August 18, 2008. Disclaimer: I do not fully comprehend this concept. Take this post with a grain of salt. This is for my own personal notes. However, like often, it was hard to find an example that showed where everything belonged in the scope of the entire class. Read the rest of this entry ». Understanding Value Types and Reference Types | Adventures in Coding

I learn, you learn, we all learn! Laquo; Clever Example of Recursion. Tokens, the Task List, and Visual Studio. Understanding Value Types and Reference Types. Here’s a simple concept of the C# language that I never new: value types and reference types. Basically value types are structures, and reference types are classes. Note that variables such as Int, Point, and String are all structures, technically. The following is the output:. ClassOne.TestString = String One. ClassTwo.TestString = String One.
