Adventures in South East Idaho. Thursday, September 22, 2011. The kids are gone all day and I still feel like I haven't had much extra time, although this morning after the kids went off on the bus, I went back to bed and slept for another hour. It felt great but later I hiked the Butte and (rim included) to make up for my laziness. :). Enjoying some time at the park after school and before piano lessons. Links to this post. Friday, September 2, 2011. The Football "Rat Race". If you have seen the movie ".

MENAN CANNONS: October 2011
http://volcanofamily.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Adventures in South East Idaho. Sunday, October 23, 2011. Change in the Air. I am looking forward to sitting with Richard in church again. Also, seeing what kinds of hair-do's/outfits the kids end up in while I'm in early meetings and he has to get them out the door. Especially excited about not having to wait 6 hours for the Sunday meals! I am glad he gets to return to being my primary slave, helping out wherever I need him. He is excited about the freedom to watch more football. :). Links to this post.

Saturday, September 7, 2013. Eastern Idaho State Fair. The fair wasn't "officially" open- we were a day early. It was fun to see a few animals, wander around, and Debbie (my sister) treated us to some nice cold water to combat the heat of the day. We also stopped at Artic Circle on the way home and checked out some property. It was fun to spend the day with Debbie, Pieper, Naomi and Dad. Friday, September 6, 2013. Peter and Katherine ALL smiles- at least for the first day! Thursday, September 5, 2013.

http://volcanofamily.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Adventures in South East Idaho. Tuesday, August 30, 2011. Days 4 and 5 really STINK! This morning as we were walking down to the bus, I braved a peek into the window well and saw a very decaying cousin of this:. After coming back from the bus stop, I told Richard that this was a "manly job". He then told Austin (who was getting a ride in to school from his dad) that he would pay him $5 if he would remove the skunk. Austin was all over that deal! Links to this post. Saturday, August 27, 2011. The plan was...

Thursday, January 24, 2013. Over the holidays we played some fun games. At Richard and Lorie's house we played "Imaginiff". The question was "Imagine if. you were at a fancy resturant, who would be mostly likely (from those playing the game) to take a bite of food from everyone's plate? I think we ALL voted for my Dad. After we got home, I was looking through our pictures and I found these gems that document what we have all experienced! Maybe I can get a taste from Peter.". Going in the the kill! Simple...

MENAN CANNONS: June 2013
http://volcanofamily.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Adventures in South East Idaho. Tuesday, June 18, 2013. San Diego Summer Vacay. One of my worst fears is to have time off from work and no vacation planned,". Our original summer vacation plan was renting a travel trailer and doing a "tour of Idaho" (since the kids have been studying Idaho History). That fell through because the spring break RV trip was hard and none of the kids (nor their mother) wanted to do it, anyway. I thought aloud, "What if we just stay home. And get some things done? She gave us ...
