She is fiesty, passionate, loving, talkative, loves to sing, dance, and perform in general. Yes Selah, you made a mess. But, it is your party so let's go celebrate! Thanks to everyone for the gifts! The Sauder Chronicles: February 2014
http://sauderchronicles.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 3, 2014. In my last post, I wrote about my crocheting and my reminiscing of my grandmas. In the midst of all that reminiscing, Scott's grandma called to let me know that she had made an afghan for Haley. Scott's grandma, like mine, has made an afghan for all of her grandchildren. She has now started on her great grandchildren, and Haley got hers this weekend. When I told Haley that we were going to Grandma and Grandpa's house, and Grandma had a surprise for her, she was SO excited! Livin...

The Sauder Chronicles: January 2014
http://sauderchronicles.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 30, 2014. It's been cold. REALLY cold. When it gets cold, I get in the mood to crochet. Every winter I crochet something. I like to make dishcloths because they are quick and easy. I can make one in just a few hours, which gives a lot of satisfaction to see a job complete in that short of time! One year I made scarves and hats for the kids. I even tried mittens once. Years ago, I used to make baby blankets. Years before that, I made full sized afghans. So I stopped doing those too.

We had the blessing of hosting a Couples Night out with Praise and Worship with friends from BCC. We encouraged couples to go on a date night and then join us afterwards for praise and worship and just hanging out with friends. We couldn't have asked for a better weather night. The scene was set and ready. Gotta love the Pinterest ideas - homemade lanterns (super easy! And boy...

All Things...: May 2012

Wednesday, May 9, 2012. Florida 2012 - where to begin. I am a little slow posting our Florida vacation pictures. Why? Well, because I took around 300 pictures and I can't decide what to post. Ha! The kids really got used to the water this year. Finn - our no fear flying child, loved the water and jumping off of anything high. In the beginning of the week he wanted to hold hands, but by the end he was all on his own. Flying high with daddy! Floating on his back. Selah pretending to sleep at the beach :).
