Slingin' it, one adventure at a time. December 25, 2014. Merry Christmas from our two little munchkins…. December 12, 2014. After Thankgiving in Hinsdale we drove down to meet Grandma Rogene in Peoria. We spent two nights in the Embassy Suites and had an amazing time at Aunt Deb and Uncle Doug’s home in Pekin. We had a ton of fun and it was really neat to see all the kids together on such a happy occasion. A heartfelt thanks go out to Aunt Deb and Uncle Deb for hosting! December 9, 2014. December 8, 2014.

I met my Orvis buddies, Joe and Brian, and we fished the Missouri river on Joe’s drive boat for a few days. It was great to reconnect and spend time on the river with these two jokers. We stayed in a very interesting resort called Lands in Love. A group of vegan Israelis settled here and offer a unique experience for tourists. Thursday, March 20, 2014. We trekked up to a yurt this weekend near Evanston, Wyoming. If you are unaware of what a yurt is, it's a small round wooden and tent house, typically in the mountains. Monday, August 25, 2014. First Day of Kindergarten. Reed's first day of Kindergarten is today! He wasn't very excited a few weeks ago but he gained his excitement lately. We got a new backpack and went back to school shopping which made him excited. He kept asking in the past week about when he starts school. Just Reed and I went Back to School shopping last Monday night. We got him a haircut, went out to dinner and shopped for clothes and supplies. We both had a blast! He made this completely on his own.
