We loved the beach, weather, sights, and time with family. After a long 14 hours on the plane, we finally landed in Honolulu. Adventures of a Traveling Housewife. Tuesday, June 16, 2009. Sorry it's taken me so long to update my blog, but I'm going to start updating again! Our new family member! She's a 9 week old pug! Since Brian and I close on our home Friday, we decided it was time to bring a new puppy into our home! Our closing is on Friday, so I plan to post LOTS of pictures of our new place soon! Adventures of a Traveling Housewife. Monday, October 27, 2008. On Friday night, the other TLP, Brad, had a friend come into town. We decided to go out in Cologne. This is a much bigger city than Bonn and has a lot more to do. It's only about a 25 minute train ride. We had a great time out and were even able to sing karaoke (in English). Adventures of a Traveling Housewife. Tuesday, April 28, 2009. Brian and I put an offer on a home last weekend and our bid was accepted! It is a HUD home so it's going to need some TLC, but it's in a great neighborhood and we really love it! It has 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, and a big yard with a pool! A peanut in paradise. Originally uploaded by apeanutinparadise. We went boating on Kaneohe Bay for the first time this week. Isobel absolutely loved watching the water and looking at the coral reef. She surprised me by happily putting on her life vest, and keeping it on the entire boat ride without one complaint. A peanut in paradise. A post about myself. On Tuesday I got my hair cut. Anywho, this post is about me. So after night after night of watching What Not to Wear. In June and I haven't been there since (she had been at another location before that). I had Traci's hair dresser do my hair when I was on the Mainland, and I hadn't had a cut since. Anyway, I adore this girl (she's significantly younger than me so I can call her a girl, wink). I am so thrilled with the new 'do. It is easy peasy.

A peanut in paradise. Iso began refusing to eat her "baby" this week. For those of you without young children, "baby" is what Iso calls YoBaby Yogurt. It's good stuff. Organic, un-homogenized whole milk yogurt with fruit. YUM! So today I decided to make a photo shoot out of her first experience with a full cup. We were in Maui with Dave's parents, in Michigan for my best friend's wedding, and then my parents came back with me for two weeks to visit for Christmas. A peanut in paradise. Isobel will be 18 months old on Wednesday! Today we had our well baby check, though Isobel is more and more of a big girl every day. She tipped the scales at 22 lbs and 31.5 inches. She also did so well with the vaccinations she received today.
