Location: Offshoot of the Waikato River under a very dodgy bridge around 6:30PM (Very Dark and rainy). First we suspended bloody meat in the stream and let it soak into the water down stream for 1-2 minutes with no lights on. This last weekend I went on the best river trip of my life - where I asked my girlfriend Danielle Brading to marry me! My friend Kerri and I had been planning this Westwater private trip with a few of our river guiding friends, and at the end of the canyon I surprised Dani with a ring. No no no no no!
