Monedas Rule Everything Around Me (M.R.E.A.M) | the adventures of dalex
https://adventuresofdalex.wordpress.com/2009/06/26/monedas-rule-everything-around-me-m-r-e-a-m
The adventures of dalex. The bubble has burst. Monedas Rule Everything Around Me (M.R.E.A.M). Here’s a little description of how it affects daily life in Buenos Aires:. The sum is less than the whole of it’s parts. In other words, 2 peso coins are more valuable than a 2 peso bill, and if ever there are 2 peso coins sitting on a table (say, for example, after sharing a meal), any self-respecting Argentine would pick up the 2 coins in exchange for a 2 peso bill. Score! It’s an absolutely absurd dilem...

The adventures of dalex. Cementario de la Recoletta. Monedas Rule Everything Around Me (M.R.E.A.M). We’ve done plenty of exploring and I’ve got a list of things I’d like to write about, but since home is where I spend most of my time I figured I’d better share a bit about our humble little abode. The ceilings are high thoughout the apartment (15 feet or so), and original molding, ancient hardwood floors and other original touches are highlighted by the modern and industrial renovations such as the bright...

The adventures of dalex. Bienvenido– blog post numero uno! Cementario de la Recoletta. I’d heard stories about el Cementario de la Recoletta. Recoletta Cemetery, obviously)– about it’s famous inhabitants and it’s mysterious beauty– but i was still surprised at just how beautiful and mysterious it was in person. August and I spent yesterday wandering Recoletta, including a couple hours in el Cementario, and loved every minute of it. Well worth the visit– click below for some more pictures! You are comment...

One Way to BA. One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things. January 18, 2010. A quick and cheap train ride away lies Tigre, a small town on the delta and an easy escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Opt for the Tren de La Costa. One Way to BA. One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things. January 26, 2011. I've made a couple of South American dishes in the past few weeks and meant to take pictures, but forgot. oops. One night I made 2 different types of homemade empanadas - one with mushrooms and cheese, and one with ground turkey (in place of ground beef) complete with hard boiled egg and spices such as cumin. Good, but not as good as the place on the corner in San Telmo. Ready for the oven.

The Adventures of Daddy Rabbit
The Adventures of Daddy Rabbit. Wednesday, February 25, 2015. Julep: false sense of cuteness. That's what I've been suffering from all day, and it's no one's fault but my own. I have got to stop letting Mr-Mama fill my wardrobe with lovely items that are simply not flattering on a small frame . or at least, I've got to stop convincing myself that they will look good with the right pieces from my wardrobe. I think it's time for another closet purge, friends. The Adventures of Daddy Rabbit. So at 8:10 this...

Adventures of Dallas
Monday, June 6, 2011. Jiggs and Pablo's Visit - June 5th 2011. Dallas made two new friends today! Our friend, Degan, brought over her border collie, Jiggs-Khalua, along with Pablo, a cocker spaniel that she was babysitting. Dallas was a bit shy at first, but they were all hanging out together in no time. Degan and Jiggs taught Dallas the 'proper' way to greet other dogs :-D. 65279;. Hi Pablo and Jiggs! What type of doggie are you? 65279; . I caught a bubble! Where did it go? Whew, that was tiring.
The Adventures of Aaron Damerson
The Adventures of Aaron Damerson. Thursday, January 14, 2010. The story so far:. Mileena Ve’Tan, daughter of Porten Ve’Tan, a wealthy and highly respected citizen of Aurorus-4, was definitely not a rogue of any sort. That is, until her father began to be hunted by bounty hunters and she decided the best way to help her father was to become one herself. The story continues…. 8220;You sure this is going to work? 8221; Faldore replied, looking at her once again. 8220;Of course. Do you even recognize me?

Just another WordPress.com weblog. Spring flowers, not too many showers. April 22, 2015. A few days ago was pretty much like a summer’s day here on the west coast. I had a little walk through Beacon Hill Park and found many flowers and so many shades of the brightest greens. Beautiful Beacon Hill Park, Victoria BC Canada. Yellow, purple, pink and white! South Park School is in the background. I love, love, love this colour of rhododendron. The horse chestnut trees are also now blooming. So majestic.
