The Adventures of Poppy and Mint. Welcome to The Adventures of Poppy and Mint. A picture book by Derek G Walker. Derek was born in 1967 in Johannesburg South Africa and is a happily married father of three. Derek's two daughters aged 8 and 6 one day suggested daddy make up some new bedtime stories and so the stories of Poppy and Mint were born. Over the years the stories have become a great source of entertainment for Derek's girls, with them giving him input on how they feel the story should go.
