Sunday, December 28, 2008. So I finally got around to updating my book list for 2008. My goal was 20 books and if I exceeded that, then 10,000 pages. I read 23 new books for a total of 9,141 pages; reread at least 4 and left 3 unfinished. Here are a few extra comments on the rereads and unfinished. The story is so good at getting down to why we resist the love and salvation of God. It's a romance, so that obviously makes it interesting. Anne of Green Gables. By Lucy Maud Montgomery. A memoir of the author's efforts at weight loss, it is a much more realistic picture of the thoughts and feelings of a person struggling with significant weight issues. Saturday, September 19, 2009. Aaron ran a 5K! Maggie is just something else. You can't say anything without her repeating it and throwing it up in your face at interesting moments. Two of her favorite sayings are "Calm down, " and "You're driving me crazy! I might say the second one, but the first one is from Aaron. Her verbal skills are really incredible. I am constantly amazed at how many words/sayings/phrases she picks up. Kids really are sponges. Usual Riley face. She is so smiley! Aaron ran a 5K!
