Adventures of Kavi: April: Baby goats, thambi, and a duck race
http://adventuresofkavi.blogspot.com/2015/05/april-baby-goats-thambi-and-duck-race.html
Sunday, May 3, 2015. April: Baby goats, thambi, and a duck race. It is springtime. Or so says the calendar. Amma says that so much rain isn't very usual. Anyway, springtime means little things appear everywhere. Little flowers, little cows. And baby goats, baby goats! Though Amma learned not to buy play doh yet for me.). Were you wondering what I did related to trains this month? I got to go to the train museum in Golden with Grandpa (and amma and thambi)! This was really fun - basically Isla, Nima, and ...

Adventures of Kavi: December: Hugs, a gingerbread house, and India! (2.5 yrs)
http://adventuresofkavi.blogspot.com/2015/01/december-hugs-gingerbread-house-and.html
Saturday, January 3, 2015. December: Hugs, a gingerbread house, and India! I am a hugger. Amma loves this. I like to hug Appa and Amma and Thambi. And my friends at the McGregor's. Oh and Moosie! I am also a tiger. Or at least I like acting like one: growling, tilting my head, and walking slowly toward Amma, picking up my knees. This works especially well when I wear my new pajamas that have tiger stripes. Tigers are adventurous and love to play. Some of my fun new sayings this month were: Cool, Yeahhh!

Adventures of Kavi: 2.75 yrs: Trains, mittens, and flashlights
http://adventuresofkavi.blogspot.com/2015/04/275-yrs-trains-mittens-and-flashlights.html
Friday, April 3, 2015. 275 yrs: Trains, mittens, and flashlights. The big thing this month was that we all took a train ride throug the mountains to Winter Park - we even made the front page. Of the Denver Post (see the middle photo below)! I believe I perfected sliding down the big curly slide at the park - I cruise down this thing forward, head first (like superman), or can flip mid-slide. I am practicing for self-arrest flips on snow someday. When we are driving) Good job Amma! Thambi continues to be ...

Adventures of Kavi: January: Rockets, blanket forts, and snow
http://adventuresofkavi.blogspot.com/2015/02/jan-rockets-blanket-forts-and-snow.html
Tuesday, February 3, 2015. January: Rockets, blanket forts, and snow. The first half of the month I was still in India. Appa and I had all sorts of fun visiting family and friends in Chennai, Madurai, and Bangalore. We did a reverse triangle trip from the way we went on my first trip to India (back in October 2013). In Ayyamma's house there is even a swing inside! Ran toward them with open arms, and crashed into them to give them a big hug (Amma still smiles remembering it). When I was gone, Amma says I ...

Adventures of Manohar: August 2014
http://adventuresofmanohar.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 27, 2014. I just arrived. And already, time is moving quickly. I went from keeping my eyes tightly shut and sleeping most of the time to opening my eyes wide to look around or at you and having stretches of time where I am up. I went from having a floppy head that you always have to support to sometime holding it up a bit (especially when being burped over a shoulder). It doesn't feel very good, but Amma comes to the rescue. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Me at 21 months.

Adventures of Manohar: Six months: Solid food, tickles, and family
http://adventuresofmanohar.blogspot.com/2015/01/six-months-solid-food-tickles-and-family.html
Saturday, January 31, 2015. Six months: Solid food, tickles, and family. This month the big thing was that I had my first food! Anna and Appa were gone for the first part of the month, but then they came back! It is great to have them back. They both are fun. Appa makes fun sounds and faces to make me smile. Anna gives me hugs and kisses, spins me in my activity center, and brings me a rattle if I start to cry. I know I tend to say this every month, but it is true. I am getting a lot stronger!

Adventures of Manohar: Eight months: Curiousity, care provider, and a cough
http://adventuresofmanohar.blogspot.com/2015/03/eight-months-curiousity-care-provider.html
Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Eight months: Curiousity, care provider, and a cough. A lot of things interest me these days, and my curious side can't help but try to explore them. Right now this mostly means things within my reach: spoons, cheeks, toys. Watch out if I get near your let-down hair (is this why amma always wears her hair back? Tacha is my new care provider at school. I like her (check us out in the picture, upper left). As a family we took a train into the mountains which was quite fun. We a...

Adventures of Kavi: September 2014
http://adventuresofkavi.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 3, 2014. Thambi and the McGregors. The biggest two events in the past two months are that I have a thambi now (thambi is Tamil for little brother) and I spend many of my days at a new house - Barbara and Don McGregor's house. Both things have meant quite a lot of change for me, but they are both really cool. My little brother Mano (check out his blog here. Time and routine to get me to sleep and I still wake up a few time in the night). My vocabulary continues to expand. I can sa...
