Monday, April 16, 2012. Yesterday, I went on a 5 mile hike with my sister and nephew (and their dog Domino Joe) at the Pecatonica Wetlands Forest Preserve. The day was overcast but a pleasant temperature for hiking. The rain held out until after we were back home. The flowers were blooming and the birds were singing. Thursday, May 31, 2012. Since I was way too ill to run in the Lake Geneva Marathon this month, I have found another marathon to take it's place for my 2012 goal. The Prairie State Marathon. Takes place on 6 October in Libertyville, Illinois. Yeah!
