November 4, 2014. My family and I went to Machu Picchu in Peru last week. The Incans built Machu Picchu. Machu Picchu was used as a vacation home. We got there by bus and walking. August 19, 2014. Museums in Quito are amazing! Most old museums in Quito were built the same way! They were built in two parts that are almost identical, but they had different rooms. For example, one was a hospital and two were houses (they were just normal places). In the one that was a hospital and now is a museum, it has an all gold church! One of the ones that was a house used to take up a whole block! They’re the most interesting museums I have ever seen and they are in Quito! Museo De La Ciudad!

August 19, 2014. In Quito Ecuador there is a church called the Basilica. The Basilica is very old, tall, and has lots of details. I went to the Basilica with my dad. Priest and people of Quito started collecting money for the Basilica in 1884. They started collecting materials in 1887. In 1892 they placed the first stone! I think the Basilica is really cool!
