Adventures with Chris and Sonya-where you can catch up with us and our ever-changing lives! Sunday, August 11, 2013. Summer has been short here in Cleveland as we've only had about 2 weeks of really hot weather (not that I'm complaining) and LOTS of rain. Our tomatoes are still green but C's mom was able to give us some from her crop so we will be having lots of fresh-from-the-garden tomato dishes this week. Monday-BLT wraps and grilled summer squash. What's on your meal plan for this week? Here are a fe...

Two Flew Over the Crowe's Nest: June 2010
http://twoflewoverthecrowesnest.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Two Flew Over the Crowe's Nest. Monday, June 28, 2010. Last Monday Colleen, Shannon and I traveled to Hilton Head, South Carolina for some rest and relaxation. We've been talking for months how much we wanted to go to the beach, so we finally decided to do it. After all, it's the summer and nothing says summer better than some sand between your toes and a ocean to dive into. It felt like bath water because it was so warm. Another high light was sitting at the tiki bar right on the beach and drinking pina...

The WEJ: July 2010

Thursday, July 15, 2010. Fourth of July and Webelo Camp. Will ready for his first overnight alone. Notice Emma's festive blue eyeshadow! We had a very different Fourth of July this year. Will's first Webelo. Camp started on the Fourth this year. As a result, both he and Allan left after lunch and our annual visitors decided to not come. That left me, Emma, Jack and Nana to celebrate our country's independence. Minus Will and Allan, I wasn't really in the celebrating mood. Thursday, July 15, 2010. Then, o...
The WEJ: Just another Wednesday
http://thewej.blogspot.com/2011/04/just-another-wednesday.html
Saturday, April 2, 2011. So, it was just another Wednesday in our house and Emma had an itch to do a little spa treatment. She has been reading her "Daring Girl" book and found some recipes for do-it-yourself spa activities. It left us with soft, glowing skin that the men were jealous of. OK. Maybe they weren't jealous, but our skin sure was soft and glowing! Here are a few pics from our fun night:. Saturday, April 02, 2011. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Welcome to the WEJ!
The WEJ: May 2010
http://thewej.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 18, 2010. That child took it upon himself to find the bug carrier (actually a hermit crab cage) and catch the lizard. This lizard was different from the others that we have around the house. Most are blue and very quick. This one was quick, but brown and its skin looked like tree bark. I just can't believe that he caught the thing! After a little research, I discovered that it is an Eastern Fence lizard! Tuesday, May 18, 2010. Thursday, May 13, 2010. Best Mother's Day/Anniversary Ever! Not o...

Wednesday, August 11, 2010. Ohio Summer, Day 4. We had a great night with Uncle Steve and Aunt Sharon and almost all of their kids. It was fun seeing everyone together. And I even dined on New Riegel's famous BBQ chicken (sauce on my fries, too). If you're thinking I was eating my way around Ohio, you're about right! Thank goodness I still had my braces on or I would have weighed an extra 10 pounds by the time I headed back to NC! Big marshmallow, little mouth. Wednesday, August 11, 2010. Wednesday, Augu...
