Adventures with Dementia
Dedicated to my dear wife, who is still - recognisably and remarkably - the same person I have known and loved for nineteen years. Tuesday, 12 May 2015. Particularly when they are tired or stressed, even people without dementia can temporarily misinterpret what they are seeing, though usually only for a very short period. I've noticed this effect more as I've got older. This is one more example of the many similarities between PWD and people without. We're all just people, when you get right down to it.

The 90F plus days of summer seem here and seem to want to stay. And the humidity is over the top. Was up 29 floors today signing some documents - and checked out the view. Http:/ www.pokolbi...

The adventures of a boy (at heart), his rescue dog and their 4×4 as they camp, hike, explore and off-road together. New Logo On The Tacoma. January 10, 2017. January 10, 2017. Now that we have our new logo just using it on the website is not enough. Our old, simple advertising on the Tacoma was just our amateurish showing of the plain URL in an interesting font on the rear window of the camper shell. Since certain people have a design sensibility I value I quickly …. Willow’s New Adventure Helmet. Headin...

Tuesday, June 17, 2014. Starting to sink in. I think I'm starting to get it. It's not about the money we make or how well we do our job. It's about all that space in between. The "down time." Are we on our devise? Or are we paying attention to the kids. Really, really paying attention. Are we crossing things off the to do list? Or are we tending to the garden, letting the sun warm us from the outside in? The more I feel stuck, the more I way to break free. Unruffled my feathers and fly. Some women dread ...

Adventures with Dorothy
In October of 2003 I made a serendipitous trip to Rome to interview Monsignor Robert Sarno, an Official with the Congregazione Delle Causi Dei Santi at the Vatican. Being able to speak with the right person regarding Dorothy’s canonization process was such an important gift for the film. So you know, it’s not the Vatican that makes saints, it’s. That bring the Cause to them. Grazie Roma, arrivederci. Projected onto the Big Screen was an honor that brought me to tears. The last night of the festival was t...
