Adventures With Fabric

Monday, March 21, 2011. Oh gee, look, it's a pillowcase. Big surprise :) This is such a no-brainer project for me. I am working on a quilt right now, but it is not ready for viewing.in other words, it is in pieces. Ergo this quick little diversion. The Easter fabric is over two years old, but most importantly, it is now OFF the to-do list. Sunday, March 13, 2011. Monday, March 7, 2011. Saturday, March 5, 2011. Adventures With Fabric: A Finish

http://adventureswithfabric.blogspot.com/2011/03/finish.html

Saturday, March 5, 2011. Aren't these the cutest belly babies you have ever seen? This is from a fabric line called "Funny Babies" by Amy Bradley. I bought this as a kit, so all the fabrics were included, even the backing and binding. The babies are a panel. Now Beckham has a nice quilt to nap on when he comes to visit Grandma. March 5, 2011 at 10:56 AM. That turned out so cute. Your grandson is one lucky little boy to have such a talented grandma. March 5, 2011 at 11:08 AM. March 6, 2011 at 4:42 PM.

Adventures With Fabric: February 2010

http://adventureswithfabric.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html

Sunday, February 21, 2010. We had plans for dinner and a movie with some friends of ours, so that didn't leave much time for sewing today. This afternoon I found time to make Matthew another bib. His favorite color seems to be red, so I am sure he will like this one. After we got back from dinner, I cut, pieced and ironed the binding for Beckham's quilt. Saturday, February 20, 2010. It Was Bound To Happen. Sunday, February 14, 2010. Wednesday, February 10, 2010. More Valentine's Day Goodies. Since red is...

Adventures With Fabric: October 2010

http://adventureswithfabric.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html

Sunday, October 31, 2010. In between all the birthday partying today, Becks found time to trick or treat. Obviously, since he only has two bottom teeth, he won't be eating much candy. But, he had the best time dressing in costume and hanging out with all his little cousins who were "teaching him the ropes". Grandma's little monkey sure had a big day! This new rocking horse will hopefully be an heirloom to a new generation. Beckham's First Birthday Party. Monday, October 25, 2010. Did I Hear That Right?

Adventures With Fabric: March 2010

http://adventureswithfabric.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html

Tuesday, March 23, 2010. Last year I started a scrapbook for my Grandson Beckham. It is a scrapbook of his first 12 months of life. Beckham was born in October of 2009. I created the first 6 pages in anticipation of his birth. I haven't touched his scrapbook since. Time to get the oldest of projects done first. The three new pages are devoted to Beckham's Baptism, his first Halloween and his first Thanksgiving. Monday, March 15, 2010. These last two weeks have been. Time to get busy with that list!

Adventures With Epilepsy | Confessions of a life well lived

Confessions of a life well lived. July 15, 2016. July 15, 2016. When I was at school, I had a fantastic English teacher whom I really admired. What I loved the most was her feminism. She truly believed that women could do anything; she believed it so much, she would reword the Bible with inclusive language. Such was the culture within the All-Girls Catholic school I attended. So how does this background information apply to me now? Whilst I refuse to join the testosterone fuelled pissing contest that see...

adventures with evan and eli

Adventures with evan and eli. Wednesday, November 19, 2008. After a long, rainy, housebound Saturday, I was desperate to get out of the house. Where we went was unimportant, as long as it was a change of scenery. Pat and I agreed upon some trivial errands and a visit to the Starbucks drive-thru. As we suited up the kids in shoes, jackets, hats and gloves, Evan asked "Why are we leaving? Without really thinking through my response, I said, "Because Mommy is climbing the walls.". Adventures with ExplosiveBear | Adventures in crafting, thrifting, baking, eating and drinking

Adventures in crafting, thrifting, baking, eating and drinking. Guys I made a kuspuk. So did Brenna. A couple questions you might have: 1) What exactly is a kuspuk? 2) Why would you make your own? Okay, 1) Kuspuks are traditional Yupik pullover-type things. The kuspuk we modeled ours on was less traditional, with three-quarter length sleeves and a little slimmer fit. You see them … Continue reading →. Adventures in Alaska, Part 2. Adventures in Resurrection Celebrations. Alright, so Easter was over a wee...

Adventures With Eytch – Chasing the wild in a civilized world

Chasing the wild in a civilized world. Getting lost on the trails in Warner Park. November 2, 2016. November 3, 2016. My senior year of high school, I realized that I would be unable to both play football and be involved in theatre, because both were a major time commitment. So I stepped away from football, and began to run cross country, which proved to be one of the best decisions I could have made with my life. Running, specifically running in nature. Comment and share if you would like! This weekend,...

Adventures of a Fearless? Just another WordPress.com weblog. Fearless Crocheting and Handspinning…. Fearless Esoterica and Theosophy…. Fearless Motherhood…a contradiction in terms. June 24, 2009. No one ever spells out what fatal errors you can make, not in real terms, nor do they truly define success. What is success? How do you fail as a parent? How do you succeed? And the biggest question yet, goes unasked or unanswered: What happens when you do fail your children? When she paused for breath, I took a...
