Adventures with Feisty

Saturday, June 9, 2012. Feisty was fascinated by the history of Antietam. Feisty in front of The Dunker Church. Feisty inside The Dunker Church. 96 monuments dot the landscape of Antietam. Feisty's dad found her a four leaf clover. In addition to monuments, farms also dot the landscape. This farm has a furry inhabitant of the groundhog variety. Feisty found some lovely flowers. Feisty thought this statue was handsome. This small cemetery resides on the Mumma farm. The rolling fields are just beautiful.

Adventures with Feisty: Brookside Gardens

http://www.adventureswithfeisty.blogspot.com/2012/04/brookside-gardens.html

Saturday, April 14, 2012. Today, Feisty, her mom, and I, visited Brookside Gardens. It was beautiful. There were gorgeous flowers everywhere! Feisty loved this bench. And this one. She is a big fan of intricate leg poses. That's right Feisty, turn those legs into a pretzel. Azaleas were in bloom EVERYWHERE. Feisty is skipping for joy! Feisty and her mama. Twirl - Feisty - Twirl. Feisty looking solemn in a cute little house. What could Feisty and her mama be looking at? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Friday, March 23, 2012. Feisty, Spring, and a Fish. Spring is here and Feisty is enjoying every minute of it. This year Spring brought with it flowers and a fish. His name is Jaq (like the mouse from Disney's Cinderella. Feisty had the honor of naming him. She also takes care of his daily feedings and she is very diligent about her responsibilities. Only a few flecks of food or Jaq will get sick. Feisty loves her some slide time. Oh yeah.this is more my speed. Yee Haw! Saturday, March 10, 2012. Feisty wa...

Adventures with Feisty: American History Museum

http://www.adventureswithfeisty.blogspot.com/2012/04/american-history-museum.html

Tuesday, April 10, 2012. On the last day of Feisty's spring break, I decided to take her to the American History Museum. Here is Feisty on the metro. Earlier that day, Feisty surprise-attacked her mom and successfully knocked out her other loose tooth. When Feisty hangs out with Dinah, she gets soda. Feisty wanted to see the Washington Monument before we went home. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. More Inspiration for Feisty. Watermark template. Powered by Blogger.

THE BLACK PROJECT: Why Does Food Hate Me?

http://theblackproject.blogspot.com/2012/03/why-does-food-hate-me.html

Tuesday, March 20, 2012. Why Does Food Hate Me? So remember my last post where I said I am not lactose intolerant? That may not be true. The past two weeks have consisted of a number of painfully horrible stomach aches. I have had these stomach aches in the past but usually only when I eat something containing peppers (bell, jalapeno, whatever), mangoes, or avocados. I steer clear of those ingredients. I treat them like The Jersey Shore. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

THE BLACK PROJECT: He Really Just Said That

http://theblackproject.blogspot.com/2012/01/he-really-just-said-that.html

Sunday, January 22, 2012. He Really Just Said That. So I just watched Shark Attack 3: Megalodon. I beg to differ. You have not seen epic shark attacks until you have seen them through the magic of special effects created by monkeys missing their opposable thumbs. The icing on this awful cake comes at the end when one John Barrowman (dude got all the best lines) exclaims, "Megalo-who! I must add this movie to my collection. THE BLACK PROJECT: Resolution for my new east coast life

Sunday, November 27, 2011. Resolution for my new east coast life. Soupon moving to the east coast I have discovered that my immune system is shot. Years of neglecting my health have lead to one straight month of being super sick. I have had something like the flu, a sinus infection, AND an ear infection. On top of all that I have now developed a food allergy to tomatoes. I LOVE TOMATOES! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. I like cheese and Sci-Fi. Links a la Via.

Thursday, July 01, 2010. Advice for my sister. So my awesome little sis is going back to school and I thought I would offer her some advice for juggling school and life. Although our situations are different, I do school with a full-time job and she does school with a full-time Squidgy, we both are doing major work with time management. So here goes with the advice:. Try not to procrastinate (see above comment). You know why I needed a bite-sized candy bar? Because - I waited until the last minute and I ...

Sunday, May 23, 2010. I'm pretty sure there are more commercials than actual Lost. Footage in this finale. To quote Sawyer - "Son of a bitch! Wednesday, May 19, 2010. So I have officially finished another semester of grad school - OH YEAH! I am a tad crazy so I will be attending summer as well. In the mean time - BEHOLD . In other news . Adventures of a Fearless? Just another WordPress.com weblog. Fearless Crocheting and Handspinning…. Fearless Esoterica and Theosophy…. Fearless Motherhood…a contradiction in terms. June 24, 2009. No one ever spells out what fatal errors you can make, not in real terms, nor do they truly define success. What is success? How do you fail as a parent? How do you succeed? Saturday, January 4, 2014. Because my streamer suggests so many different species the black nose seems not to cause a problem, but for fishing I think it best to go with the white nose just to maximize your odds. All photos are property of the Virtual Aquarium of Virginia Tech. Except for the actual photo of the streamer itself, which I produced and placed within the set of photos to show the versatility of this fly. Visit their site; it's a tremendous body of work for which they deserve applause!

Adventures with Flat Grandpa Stanley. Wednesday, November 28, 2012. We finished off the weekend by going out and cutting down our Christmas tree with our friends at a u-cut tree farm we visit every year. Finally, a first diagnosis. I have told our story many times, but it is wonderful to be writing it down. It is a blessing to me to be able to share it with all of you.
