Tuesday, January 3, 2012. Video Blogs: The Doctor's of Love. I am so excited for 2012. It is going to be a tough year. This is the year I will finish my course work for my PhD program, study for and take my qualifying exam, write and propose my dissertation topic and if all goes well i will begin the mystifying and slightly scary process. Oh yeah, and I need a topic! I've been so immersed in coursework and my job that I've barely had time to think! Http:/ www.youtube.com/user/DrsOFDating?

Monday, April 1, 2013. The drinks of Germany.from beer to gunpowder. I know everyone is curious about the drinks in Germany. Yes, they are mostly similar to drinks you can find anywhere else in the world.with a few exceptions. Of course we must start off with the traditional Berlin Pilsner. And traditional Kolsch from Cologne (Koln). Eventually we expanded from beer to wine, gin fizzes a very unique. And salty pretzel stick drink that you must drink by first chewing. Kyla's Adventures: December 2011

http://www.adventureswithkyla.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html

Friday, December 9, 2011. My friend and graduate student colleague, Jessica, and I have started a youtube channel called Dr.'s of Love. The premise: we both are getting our PhD's, have been in the dating world for 10 years, are smart, beautiful, but still have no f*&%ing clue what we are doing. We decided to share our insights with the world (mostly everything we do wrong) with others who are in the same boat. Http:/ www.youtube.com/watch? Enjoy the video. There will be more to come. Kelly's Travels: The Last Few Days

http://kellytravelstheworld.blogspot.com/2009/01/last-few-days.html

Saturday, January 17, 2009. The Last Few Days. The last leg of our trip from. To Panajachel to Antigua to. Stretched out over two days and was much more relaxing that I expected. It was fun to show Erich some of my favorite restaurants and sites in the cities that I have grown to love over the past three weeks. Antigua is by far my favorite city in. The owner, who processes everything by hand in small batches was taking a well-deserved rest:. Ricardo was even nice enough to take us back to. Erich and I s...

Kelly's Travels: Seattle

http://kellytravelstheworld.blogspot.com/2009/07/seattle.html

Thursday, July 02, 2009. After camp was finished, Mike drove all the way from Montana to hang out with me for a few days in Seattle! The only time I've ever been in the city was when I was four years old so I was looking forward to exploring Seattle with him. We stopped at Columbia Valley first and then enjoyed some brick oven pizza at Janiuk Winery. One of my favorite parts of the stop wasn't even the wine - it was our tour of the Red Hook. After a short drive to Seattle, we checked into the Marqueen.

Kelly's Travels: Home Safe

http://kellytravelstheworld.blogspot.com/2009/01/home-safe.html

Tuesday, January 20, 2009. I’m just starting to realize that my latest adventure is over. It's back to cold Wisconsin and work/school. It was completely chance that Eva and I picked. For this trip – a combination of cheap airfare and a favorable exchange rate, plus the opportunity for me to work in the clinic in Santiago Atitlán. Retrospectively, we couldn't have picked a more perfect place to visit. And a little beach time in Monterrico, the trip has been the perfect balance of education and relaxation.

Sunday, June 28, 2009. Brooks ID Camp in Seattle! I was super excited when I was offered the opportunity to attend the Brooks ID Camp at Crystal Mountain, Washington this summer! I jumped at the chance to spend a weekend running in the mountains with a bunch of people who are even crazier about running than I am! All I had to do was buy a plane ticket and the rest was covered! For those of you who don't know, the Brooks ID Program. It made me wonder how I managed to get accepted into the program! Next up...

Kelly's Travels: December 2007

http://kellytravelstheworld.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html

Sunday, December 30, 2007. Dubai, Part I. It's gorgeous in Dubai! Even though it's technically winter, every day is 75-80 degrees and sunny. Yesterday, for our first day in the city we checked out the huge Mall of Emirates, the largest shopping center outside of the United States. It has over 450 stores and also houses Ski Dubai, the indoor ski place. In the afternoon, we went to a hookah bar and smoked some shisha in true Middle Eastern style. Dinner was sushi (my favorite! And yes, we did wear our biki...

In my corner: August 2009

http://amaliascorner.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html

Sunday, August 30, 2009. Living with a boy. I have been well aware that I live with a boy for the entire year that I have been living with Sean. Dealing with things such as messiness, filth and.well, "boy" has been manageable. Tonight was the very first time I wished I didn't live with a boy. I guess this boy specifically. I had a long night, and when I got home I just wanted to make some plain noodles, eat them and go to bed. I can't forget about "Mali.". Sunday, August 9, 2009. Directly from po-dunk Io...

Saturday, June 28, 2014. Sunday, May 18, 2014. Mass at Notre Dame Cathedral and the Louvre. We saw some souvenir scarves, French tams/ berets, and all types of t-shirts you could want. We were going to go to Mass then come back to purchase what we wanted. So by 11:15 am, the bells of Notre Dame were ringing as people were streaming into the church. We found our seats towards the front of the second section and watch the church fill up with hundreds of worshipers. But it was an experience of a lifetime.
