What would the reaction be? 13 years ago today I decided to start fresh with my son, which meant I had to leave his father. It was not an easy decision. In fact it was the most difficult, scariest decision I had ever made in my entire life. But it was the right decision. I have question that many times, but I know now that it was the right decision. Off To High School.

I remember standing at the Plouffe on his first day of Kindergarten as I watched (with tear filled eyes) walk off with his classmates. We have been a team, him and I, and I hope that our bond continues to grow as he enters high school, in his most impressionable years. Okay okay…I know it’s not even Halloween yet…but there’s only 65 days till Christmas! This year should be so much fun with both kids! I can not wait! I’m proud to report that I am 95% done with my Christmas shopping! My kids are finished, except for a few stocking stuffers, and all the kids in the family are also done. I just need to get parent presents and swap gifts! With that finished, I’ve been working on some Christmas crafts! I decided I wanted to make some for the Ventura’s! I really do love them!

This is pretty gross and probably TMI, but I was in the shower the other morning and I noticed that the tub was filling up with water and I figured the drain must be clogged, most likely with my hair (damn postpartum hair loss! And I thought, I’ll have to let Victor know so he can unclog it. And then I thought, How gross is that? That he has to clean MY hair out of the drain? 2 You are a really hard worker! You may not work long hours (thank goodness! And you’re good at it! Sometimes you do too much!
