100 Days Across Asia. Kimchi for Breakfast presents…some post-Korea adventures! 100 Days Across Asia. Steep Cliffs and Bright Colors. We’re currently chillaxin in our hotel room in Hanoi, Vietnam, after an incredible motorbike trip up North. But first things first, let’s go back to Malaysia (but can we skip the overnight in the airport? Wasn’t too fun last time)! But let’s see, I’ll pick out our favorites…. Gawking at the massive grandeur of the largest cave passage in the world, and plugging our noses f...
September | 100 Days Across Asia

100 Days Across Asia. Kimchi for Breakfast presents…some post-Korea adventures! A day in the life. September has always been an exciting month. Mostly because it includes my birthday (Cynthia’s), but also because the cool autumn winds sweep in, and spicy mulled beverages appear back on the stovetop. And in the past, September has meant the beginning of the new school year. You’d think if I’ve been making decisions for twenty-three years I’d be a little better at it. Surely, you scoff. 100 Days Across Asia. Kimchi for Breakfast presents…some post-Korea adventures! We went to Gyeongju last weekend intending to spend one night amongst the monks at Golgulsa Temple, and one night in a. These Korean saunas are popular with budget travelers like ourselves because customers can not only relax in the hot tubs and saunas, but also stay overnight on a floor mat for super cheap. Like $5 cheap. Considering we keep wasting our money on dumb motels, we were determined. Or “Where is a. Fill in your d...

100 Days Across Asia. Kimchi for Breakfast presents…some post-Korea adventures! Heart N’ Seoul. We were all set to have a quiet weekend in Taebaek, when I (Tommy) caught word that Beat Culture. A new indie-electronic-beatmaker-etc was playing a show at POWWOW. A new DIY art/music venue in Seoul. So we hopped on the train to see what the big city could offer us for the weekend. Cynto and a giant flag in the park! Fun in the Fountain. World’s largest church congregation. On only a few hours of broken sleep...

100 Days Across Asia. Kimchi for Breakfast presents…some post-Korea adventures! A day in the life. Rose: So Fresh and So Clean Clean. ROSE: THE KOREAN SAUNA. You may remember our first sauna experience from a few months ago, when we were lured into a giant clay oven like Hansel and Gretel. Now that we’ve become masters of the Jjimjilbang, or overnight sauna, it’s about time I give them a proper entry. I LOVE KOREAN SAUNAS! Now if that doesn’t sound good already, here’s why I really love them. You are com...

Adventures with Tinder (Good and Bad)
Adventures with Tinder (Good and Bad). The Crazy American Writer. Posted in Dating in NYC. Date and location of meeting: New York, NY, October 2016. A few people were seated at the restaurant, and we moved up in the line. J went to go get drinks, and shortly after she was gone, one of the men turned to me and commented that wasn’t it ridiculous that there was a long wait for the bar? However, in the light of the day, I saw things that hadn’t been so obvious the previous night. 8221; I actually strongly s...

100 Days Across Asia. Kimchi for Breakfast presents…some post-Korea adventures! 100 Days Across Asia. While Cynthia usually writes the blogs around here (let’s be honest, she’s more poetic than me), i thought I’d reflect on driving a motorbike around some of the most notorious roadways out there. There are three types of roads we encountered on our trip- downtown city traffic, edge of town highways and mountain roads. Being on the mountain country roads was an amazing experience! 100 Days Across Asia.
Tracy Hale -
Where in the world is Tracy Hale. It was that love of sharing the beauty of her creator's world and encouraging people to "explore outside of their bubble" that led Tracy to one of her final requests: To have her ashes made into glass medallions so that her friends and loved ones would explore the world around them, take her along for the ride, and eventually leave her somewhere with a spectacular view. Adventures with Triangles
Our journey through correcting clubbed feet on two children. Thursday, August 4, 2016. It's been a long time since I've updated - mostly because 2015 was an insanely emotionally busy year - but also because not a whole lot has happened with the kiddos feet. Miss Lena's ATTT surgery is on hold until her tendons are bigger than spaghetti noodles. who knows how long that will be. Middle school? We go in tomorrow for their dual 6 and 8 year old feet check. I'm anticipating no big news! Posted by Mother Hen.

Adventures With Tuco
Tuco at 17 Months. It appears Adventures With Tuco has become an abandon blog, but I still want to document a few things about little Tuco for posterity. Better late than never, right? Block (though he pronounces it more like Bock). Park (though he pronounces it like Bark). Choo-choo (for train of course). Mama (though he’s usually talking about his book. And not his mother when he says this word). Gogo (his word for car). Not a swear word in the bunch! What’s Tuco looking like these days? Middot; 1:17 pm.
Adventures with Twinkie2055 | Follow an Airstream Classic and its tenants as it travels this great land
Follow an Airstream Classic and its tenants as it travels this great land. New Addition to the Twinkie Family. Posted on August 11, 2014. For nearly two years now, we have had scooters added to our travel fleet. As you may have seen in many posts, the first were two wonderful Vespa scooters. They were 300cc and beautiful. They carried us in such areas as Montana, Wyoming, Ohio and of course California. Amy and I riding over 8000 miles on these beautiful machines. So let Adventures with Burgie begin.
