http://adventurewomanmegan.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 21, 2011. 50mph winds and the Wiss! The run ended on a high not with a finish time of 2:44:00 for 20.75miles. That was an avg pace of 7:54/mile. I took it easy the rest of the day, epson salt bath and several meals and renting Sex and the City II. It was the perfect end to the weekend. This week is a recovery week and a trip to DC for a baby room decorating extravaganza, baby shower and marathon course scouting. Can't wait! More later on my workouts for this week! Shorts, I ran in shorts.

Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Where has my training gone? First let me start off by saying that I finally met Beth from AdventureWoman, in Florida of all places! It was so great to finally meet such an amazing woman. I thought going into this race that I would have so much more time on my hands with the wedding behind me…then we bought a house! The race is 3 months out and I am getting pumped. I still have another month until I am fully satisfied with my training, but I am not dissatisfied with my training ...

Dream, Explore, Conquer: November 2010
http://adventurewomanmegan.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 23, 2010. Ironman Vs. Ultra Distance Triathlon. It wasn't until recent that I found out that there was a difference between an Ironman and an Ultra Distance Triathlon. When you look at the distance for each component they are the same and when you look at time to complete by, they are the same, and they both follow USAT sanctioned rules, so why the big difference. It's a little thing called Trademarking! On a final note, I am so happy, excited, proud, oh and excited that I will have a t...

Tuesday, October 4, 2011. Another for the Story Books! A week has passed since Chesapeakman. I have hit the post race blues. Not really sure what to do with myself…besides think back to how my race went and nurse my stress fractured foot! John and I headed from my work on Thursday afternoon. Stopped for dinner at a Mexican restaurant, then headed to the hotel. Not much is in Cambridge, or the surrounding towns…except a lot of Walmarts. Around 2am, I awoke feeling very sick and spent the next few hours th...

Monday, October 18, 2010. What to do with all this time? Pictures from the Nations Triathlon - Took 5th in age group out of 300 ). 50 days have passed since the Ironman but it seems like a year. With all of this extra time on my hands what am I supposed to do? I think what I need to do is set some short term goals for myself, but not make it too crazy that I am tired before my training starts. Here are a few things I want to do before Jan:. 1 Re-Design my training plan for Chesapeakman.

Dream, Explore, Conquer: March 2011
http://adventurewomanmegan.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 31, 2011. Saturday was the National Marathon. The weather was forcasted to be in the low 30's with rain or snow! Not fun. I left work early on Friday to drive to my sisters, no traffic and only one pit stop. Got to DC just in time to see Izzy and Davis before they went to bed. The race start was setup in corals, based on your entry time. I was in the 2nd Coral. The first only had about 50 runners, so that meant I was right at the front. Wednesday, March 23, 2011. With that being said, I t...
