The Sandgropers Blog: Anzac Day 2015
http://thesandgroppers.blogspot.com/2015/04/anzac-day-2015.html
Saturday, April 25, 2015. Well it was that time of year again when I wake up a few sleepy little nevilles and drive into Kings Park for the Anzac Dawn service, so after a quick weet-bix brekkie we were in the cattle truck at 3.30 for our little drive to Perth. Here's Oscar having a selfie with the War Memorial Cenotaph! This fella sang four songs at the end of the service and he was bloody awesome singing some good old aussie songs. Afterwards we walked down to the Western Power Parkground and the kiddie...

The Sandgropers 2010: The second night before Christmas
http://thesandgroppers2010.blogspot.com/2010/12/second-night-before-christmas.html
Friday, 24 December 2010. The second night before Christmas. Well it was the second day before Christmas and I thought to wear down the kiddies I would give them a trip into Perth, and as you can see the first thing we saw was this ripper Christmas Tree. Just the kiddies at Perth Mall. At Perth Myers they have a place called Christmas Land so this year I thought I would take them there, so with their little hopes high we walked into Christmas Land and got two tickets on the Christmas Train.

Bondy goes travelling: Flying lesson
http://bondytravel.blogspot.com/2013/09/flying-lesson.html
An ongoing factual account of my jaw-dropping exploits around the globe, accompanied by photos in lush full colour. Wednesday, 4 September 2013. This is the first blog I've written in a very long time. I've travelled quite a lot in the last 2-3 years, and though I've done a whole variety of stuff, I never seem to be in the mood to write. I've been looking for a reason to break through a severe case of writer's block, and what better reason than the fulfillment of a childhood dream? And Angels One Five.

Cherished Chaos: February 2013
http://littleboysinblue.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
8220;There is no school equal to a decent home and no teacher equal to a virtuous parent.” ― Mahatma Gandhi. Saturday, February 23, 2013. Every time I asked an organisation if there was something the boys and I could do to help, I got the same answer, "the boys are too young, they have to be 16 to register as volunteers and they can't work for us unless they register. So I've decided to be a regular part of the Two Hands Project. If you've read my blog, you would have seen this. After the boys were at da...

Pearl E Queen: Kalbarri holiday: the rest
http://pearlequeen.blogspot.com/2013/08/kalbarri-holiday-rest.html
Monday, August 12, 2013. Kalbarri holiday: the rest. Whose dopey idea was that "Day one", "Day two" carry on? Mine obviously while in ridiculously deluded holiday mode. So here we are weeks later, with our holiday feeling like very old news, and I'm finally getting to finish that off - and only because the washing machine broke and I am waiting for the repairman. And now Blogger is playing up yet again so I'll just slip in this short summary in case it all goes pear-shaped:. We oohed and ahhed our way ov...

Pearl E Queen: Holiday day five: A holiday from Interwebland
http://pearlequeen.blogspot.com/2013/07/holiday-day-five-holiday-from.html
Thursday, July 18, 2013. Holiday day five: A holiday from Interwebland. Late on day four we discovered that the "week" of internet access I bought for while we were in Kalbarri was all used up after nearly 36 hours. Oops. Being offline was actually rather nice but we got home tonight and BOY do I have some catching up to do tomorrow. This picture is of one of the very many beautiful plants we spotted while getting on with our lives in Realworldland. July 28, 2013 at 7:28 PM. How did the canoe trip go?

Pearl E Queen: Holiday day four: Parrot watching
http://pearlequeen.blogspot.com/2013/07/holiday-day-four-parrot-watching.html
Thursday, July 11, 2013. Holiday day four: Parrot watching. Today the youngest member of our household chose the day's activities. He loves reading, likes his tucker and is fascinated by wildlife. Next stop was a visit to Rainbow Jungle parrot breeding centre. It was fabulous. My daughter's favourites were a pair of enormous and gregarious macaws. I couldn't choose a favourite but I know which one wasn't. My favourite: the one that shat on me. Apparently that is very lucky but I sure didn't feel lucky.
