http://tamichaulk.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 16, 2014. Quilt Doodle BOM 2014 - February. The layout for the quilt was revealed this last month as well as the directions for this next block. I enjoyed putting the pieces for this block together. I had several different blue fabrics that I used for the sky of the Cozy Cabin block. I think this is going to make a fun quilt! You can see everyone's blocks HERE. Labels: Quilt Doodle BOM. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Follow Tami's Quilting Adventure. My Dash of Pink.

Aussies in Denver: British Influence in North America does exist!
http://aussiesindenver.blogspot.com/2014/06/british-influence-in-north-america-does.html
Best U.S. Food. Monday, 23 June 2014. British Influence in North America does exist! Day one in BC I found myself happily immersed in British culture! After 18mths without crumpets I almost squealed when I saw them on the breakfast buffet station! There was also tea with scones, jam and cream later in the day! For my American friends he was the man that captained the ship that discovered Australia and lead to the colonization of Australia in 1788. So the British influence here is strong and I LOVE it!

Aussies in Denver: Another Aussie in our midst!
http://aussiesindenver.blogspot.com/2015/07/another-aussie-in-our-midst.html
Best U.S. Food. Tuesday, 21 July 2015. Another Aussie in our midst! Our latest visit from Oz is our 22yr old son Benjamin. We took him to Washington DC and Charlotte North Carolina. In DC we saw the White House:. The Presidential Memorials and the MLK memorial:. And we went to some museums, the National Building Museum had a massive ball pit! Yes Ben temporarily lost his shoe! So pleased to be back on 'dry' land. But the best museum was the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum near Dulles Airport in Virginia:.

Aussies in Denver: December 2013
http://aussiesindenver.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Best U.S. Food. Saturday, 7 December 2013. We drove almost 400miles of Arizona roads today and saw The Grand Canyon, Sedona and finally arrived in Phoenix where we are staying the night. The long road ahead of us as we started the day:. Our first glimpse of the canyon area when I stopped to buy jewelery from a lovely Navajo man at his stall beside one of the scenic overlooks:. Once we were in the National Park the first viewpoint had a tower:. The view from the point, breathtaking! Glad I wasn't hiking!

Best U.S. Food. Friday, 5 December 2014. A visitor in our midst! It is now two years since we emigrated from Australia to the USA. Last Friday 11/28/14 we finally were excited to greet our son TJ at Denver International Airport for his first US trip! We have been busy sightseeing and catching up. I've taken him to Lookout Mountain, Red Rocks Amphitheater, Park Meadows Mall and the summit of Pikes Peak where it was only 23 degrees F (-5c) and very windy:. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Aussies in Denver: Seattle Washington
http://aussiesindenver.blogspot.com/2014/06/seattle-washington.html
Best U.S. Food. Monday, 23 June 2014. Sunday we drove from Ellensburg Washington to Victoria in British Columbia Canada. We went via Seattle and the Olympia Peninsula. We went up the awesomely retro Space Needle which was built in 1962 for the World's Fair. Then we caught the really lame monorail that goes only .96 of a mile for $4.50 . still laughing about that! We found great french bread at the markets on the waterfront and we ate a whole baguette just because it was sooooooo yummy! Gypsy in the ME.

I’m not usually one for planning travel, I prefer to just go along with whatever life throws my way, but with this short trip, I can’t help but resear...I hope yo...
