The mission of the Advocates for a Community College Education is to raise funds for college scholarships with a focus on incoming students from Cape Cod high schools who will be attending Cape Cod Community College and to provide mentoring and support for those students. About the Advocates Mentoring Process. The Advocates currently have 13 mentors working with our scholarship students. They are dedicated, caring people who provide various types of support to the student. A mentor meets with each student every few weeks to ensure that the college experience and studies are going well. There are two mentors assigned to each student to assure that continued support will always be available to the student. Meet the mentors who are working with our scholarship.
