It is my dream to someday get an image of her riding a horse outside than I can make into a canvas for art for her room. I can already see it in my head! She had the time of her life! She was so excited to go, and I even scored some pink cowgirl boots for $2.50 for her to wear! The horse’s name was Artey, and he was old and slow! It was her dream come true!

The Schenk's Shenanigans. Monthly Archives: December 2014. December 23, 2014. My Grandpa Floyd passed away this past Sunday, December 21st. This is his legacy. I was able to say goodbye, and he gave me a great gift of reaching for my hand. I left emotional, yet relieved. He passed a few hours later. I will never forget his voice and the way the talked. How he always made me feel like he was so excited to see me when I walked in the room. And man, how he loved his great grandchildren! Cooking of the food.
