Amy and Evan's Alaskan Adventures. Thursday, September 30, 2010. It was a long trip and a cold and snowy trip but it was fun! Thursday, September 23, 2010. Day 2 and 3. The only stops we made were to get gas and stop to see some awesome wildlife. Yesterday we saw 1 wolf, 6 bears and 6 moose and today we saw a few more sheep, some caribou( which neither me and amy have seen in the wild), two of which we saw swimming across a lake, and a ton of buffalo! Amy and Evan's Alaskan Adventures. Tuesday, October 19, 2010. Saturday I spent the whole day fishing. Its continuing to get colder here and much of the day we had to battle against our line getting caught up in the ice floating down the river. It was a fun day though. I fly fished all day and alot of fish! After that we headed to a local restaurant bar and watched football for a few hours. (and sadly watched my cowboys lose.again.) Amy and Evan's Alaskan Adventures. Thursday, October 7, 2010. Well we have been here over a week now and we are really digging it! School started and it looks like classes should be really good and very interesting. All the students here are really awesome. We went out to Pizza with some of them the other night and had a bonfire up the road at one of our teachers house with everyone! Its really an incredible view! The mountains across the bay have snow on them now though and the weather is changing fast!

Amy and Evan's Alaskan Adventures. Wednesday, October 13, 2010. Church across the bay. Also this week we saw a few moose and 3 moose popped out while Amy was taking a walk by her self and preceded to walk down the road with her a ways. It definitely was a little scary considering that the calfs were the size of a large horse but moose are pretty awesome in the right setting! I went fishing this week and it was awesome being on the river again! I caught a few good sized Dollys and hooked into a big red!
