Saturday, February 26, 2011. Kate's Quote of the Day - 2/26/11 (yes, out of order). Kate was taking forever to eat her lunch, as so often is the case, and she could see that I was getting irritated. She looked at me and said, "I'm pushing my luck mommy! I can't stay mad when she says funny stuff like that. Years ago, Amber and Athena started the tradition of naming out Christmas tree. This year Kate named him Gary. Gary was a great tree, and Kate loved decorating him. Kate's 1st Nutcracker with Mimi.

Wednesday, May 18, 2011. Yes, you can call this child abuse.I probably shouldn't incriminate myself by posting these pictures, but I couldn't resist getting pictures of the kids in the mullet wig. As you can see, Kate and Allison didn't think this was as funny as I did. We made popsicles for the first time this year. Pink lemonade. Yum yum! May 6th - School Hike. Sunday, March 13, 2011. February 7th - Ski Trip. On Mark's birthday, we took Kate up skiing for her first time. She was really excited, but didn't really understand what we were taking her to do. Here she is as we were pulling out of the driveway. We had a great lunch at Kickapoo in Keystone before getting skis and heading up the mountain. Mark got Kate all geared up. Monday, May 17, 2010. It has been so many months since I've updated my blog that I thought I would put some highlights. I'm starting with the most recent. Lauren's dance recital is Saturday and Sunday so tonight was the dress rehearsal. Friday was Lauren's jog-a-thon. She ran 8 laps. Way to go! Lauren has been in soccer for the past month. She has been doing so much better. One game she scored 6 goals. Some of her teammates. Lauren loved the strawberry drink. I loved that it was all inclusive.
