The easily amused are never bored. 10:56 am May 16th, 2015. Former coworker and friend is in town for ONE NIGHT ONLY. There's a group invitation for hanging out at a local restaurant/bar (heavier on the bar than, say, an Applebees type place) at 5. This is firmly in dinner territory, and it would not be super odd to take a small child. On the other hand, it's Saturday, and this place often seems to feel that music needs to be cranked to 11. So I'm having this huge mental debate. Go? Arg, I don't know!

What I eat now is so different from what I ate growing up. We ate a lot of chili, which I still love (though not my parents' version of it). My mom makes a killer homemade beef and noodles and roast. 2 What is the best holiday for eating in your family? 4 What food(s) do you truly dislike/hate/have allergies to? Well if I wanted. Its a good land for myths.

It's been like 90% done since the month before he was born, but we have two pictures to hang and a wall to repair and it drives me CRAZY that it's still not done. Also grading these papers. I've been sick all week and they've been sitting here staring at me sadly, ungraded. 2 What's something you want to finish in the next six months?

When you spend this much time and effort on something, when it occupies this much of your mental energy, every little milestone feels like a huge accomplishment. You want to shout it from the roof tops. MY KID SLEPT FIVE AND A HALF HOURS! I GOT REAL SLEEP! I WOKE UP IN A PUDDLE OF MILK!

Back to work - Amusement. The easily amused are never bored. 01:42 pm May 11th, 2015. Today is my first day back at work. I'm here just in the afternoons for the next five weeks - 4 hours a day, from 1-5. It's really nothing, in the scheme of things. I'm missing a feeding and a nap, probably. Maybe two naps. In a way that sometimes drives my little organizer brain crazy. I suspect these anxiety dreams are not difficult to interpret. Comment by brutal, honest, and afraid of you. Comment by ash silver.

I have under my supervision three work study students. The director allows them to do homework when library projects are low. However, they dont take advantage of that time and instead I find them socializing. Theyre definitely not getting paid to socialize. Much appreciated if anything comes my way!
