We expect someone to give us a gift if we buy one for them. We agonize over how much someone might spend on us, worried that we have to spend an equal amount on them. We ask for cash, or gift cards. We expect gifts in the first place. Doesn't this seem odd? It's not a requirement, and shouldn't be expected. I am guilty of messing this up, and I hope to correct it.

After our trip to Jacksonville to check out the city and the details of the new position I was being considered for, we came home and let everything sink in to see how we really felt about it. At the same time, the entire process is making me consider all sorts of things. Can I make money doing something I can feel proud of? I don't think it's that simple. The thought process continues.
