A Few Cold Ones. Another week here in the burgh getting settled in. Sorry about another all photo post. Last Friday we decided to check out the Pittsburgh Summer Beerfest after taking last summer off. A good time was had and we even ran into friends from The Knickerbocker. Good to see you Chris and Sean! Hopefully I find the rest of my camera gear soon and get back to the regular format. Until then, Cheers everyone! The Quest for Check-In 1000. Were all being poured. A Few Cold Ones. DIY Beers for Homebrew Day. Happening this Saturday I thought it would be a great time to share my latest adventure in homebrewing. I’m a little embarrassed to say that I haven’t brewed anything since January so that should explain the photos with me wearing my toboggan, AKA my tuque, AKA knit cap. A Few Cold Ones. Glütiny Pale Ale. Sent a few sample bottles of a gluten free beer home with Brandi for us to give a try. This week I’m diving into Glütiny Pale Ale. From New Belgium Brewing. Currently Glütiny is available in a golden ale version and an american pale ale. While both are crafted to reduce gluten, I’m having the pale ale today which comes in at 6% ABV. Still this looks like an inviting pale that can stand up to any other brew. I just don’t know. So if you tried Glütiny or know someone...
