A few not so random thoughts. Thursday, March 26, 2009. I stepped on the scale this morning. 120.5lbs. That's half a pound away from my goal weight. I am really happy. Sure it's not as impressive as what some of my friends are accomplishing in this area but I am happy. It means that my hard work is paying off. I feel better both physically and psychologically. Of course I got woken up at an ungodly hour by Kitten but he did stay the entire night in his bed so that was ok. A few not so random thoughts. Tuesday, April 1, 2008. Fear of the number 3. New discipline method with Kitten and it is working like a charm. If I want him to do anything I tell him he has until the count of 3 in order to do it . "or else". By the count of 1 he will usually rush to do whatever it was that was asked while saying "no no don't say 3". I have heard of triskaidekaphobia but never a phobia of the number 3. Am I damaging my child irreparably by encouraging this fear? April 1, 2008 at 11:57 AM.

A few not so random thoughts. Thursday, January 17, 2008. Back to the surgeon. Muffin was born at 35 weeks gestation. We were very lucky because he had no problems at all. As soon as my epidural had worn off I was able to hold him in my arms. A few not so random thoughts. Saturday, April 5, 2008. For Espen's birthday 3 weeks later we obviously still did not have a kitchen (that only came the following Christmas) so again I took Kitten to pick a cake for Espen and that time we got one with a car. Well that is also about the time that Kitten's long term memory kicked in and now whenever there is a birthday (ANY birthday) Kitten insisted on picking out a cake. Very very yummy, but incredibly boring according to my 3 year old ;-).
