There is a television show that chronicles the life and weight loss of a morbidly obese woman, Ruby. I watched one episode and decided it wasn't for me. But I recently saw a commercial for Ruby in which she was advised to change five things in her life. Third: I commit to eating two servings of seafood a week. I like seafood but I've never really cooked it so I guess this means a lot of tuna fish.

A few words from the wise . Living with diabetes, disability. and other stuff. Tuesday, October 4, 2011. One of the hardest things to figure out when you have diabetes is what to eat for breakfast. At the top of my list are eggs. No carbs, no worries. But, as much as I like eggs, I do get tired of them after a few months. So I'm always on the lookout for something new. I have tried green smoothies (tasted like grass), I don't eat much fruit, just the berries, not a fan of oatmeal. 1/2 tsp baking powder.

Recently on MSNBC, Brian Williams reported that people who lose weight gain that weight back because of . a hormone. This claim is based on a study of a group that dieted at an insanely restricted way, 500 calories a day which included a diet drink and vegetables. A most tempting program.
