Sunday, November 28, 2010. Birthday Cake fr 1 yr old Allyson. My colleague ordered a 8" Cake and cupcakes with Minnie and Mickey theme fr her 1 yr old niece's birthday. It was fun and yet challenging moulding the fondant due to our hot and humid weather in Malaysia. Finally i've decided not to fight the weather and told them to fridge the minnie ears n pink ribbon and only put it on right before cake cutting time do avoid any meltdown n wilted Minnie ears. Happy 1st Birthday Allyson.

Tuesday, February 22, 2011. Then comes the CNY Office party when my colleague ask if i would bake some cupcakes .of course this time it's CNY theme cupcakes. I happily baked 80 cupcakes and the designs are all very "CNY mood" of Chinese Red Firecrackers, Mandarin Oranges and pussy wilows and glad that everyone finished it. :-). It's the time for the joyful season again where everyone is bz getting gifts and decorating x'mas tree, i was busy planning on my x'mas cupcakes for some relatives who are celebrating Christmas day. I've decided on Choc cake with butter icing. I honestly prefer butter icing than shortening as i find that butter has a richer taste and shortening on the other hand is quite bland.
