Skip to main content. Skip to primary sidebar. Skip to secondary sidebar. Affective Teaching for Effective Learning. About Affective Learning Blog. The Chicken in the Truck: A Reflection. Many years ago, my husband and I were driving on the freeway (highway), and we saw several chickens dead on the road. They obviously came out of a semi-truck that was probably on it’s way to the processing plant because they were pure white, (the kind used for eggs and meat). Who do you identify with? Sometimes when fac...

Skip to main content. Skip to primary sidebar. Skip to secondary sidebar. Affective Teaching for Effective Learning. About Affective Learning Blog. Larr; Am I Making the Right Decision? The Chicken in the Truck: A Reflection. The discussion of the question continues to this day: Would you rather be the chicken on the truck or the chicken that jumps from the truck? I made a big decision last month, and am ready to begin my new path, (in a few weeks). I haven’t thought about this questions for a ...Address...

Embrace Criticism. | Chelsea's World

https://chelsealjunggren.wordpress.com/2013/03/15/embrace-criticism

I see the postive in every situation. Chelsea E. Ljunngren. March 15, 2013. Could I improve my work or efforts by applying new ways of doing things? Next, apply the new approach to your work. In the end of it all, you may find that you do like the results. Maybe you don’t. At least, you’ve learned a new way or a new skill that you can use to apply to future projects. Maybe this criticism has helped improve your skills and you now find it easier to complete your job. This entry was posted in Inspiration.

I see the postive in every situation. Chelsea E. Ljunngren. Change is a Good Thing. March 14, 2013. Despite what people may say or think you should always embrace change. Change is inevitable so you might as well accept it and move on. Even when you do not want things to change or to be different, sometimes it is for the best. Like the saying goes, when one door closes another one opens, and I could not agree more. This entry was posted in Inspiration. Embrace Criticism. →. March 18, 2013 at 2:05 am.

Taking a Risk. | Chelsea's World

https://chelsealjunggren.wordpress.com/2013/03/14/taking-a-risk

I see the postive in every situation. Chelsea E. Ljunngren. March 14, 2013. There’s always a chance when taking a risk that something could go wrong. However, you should not worry about what could go wrong and instead think about what could go right. If the risk is something you truly desire, for example telling that special person how much they mean to you or asking for a promotion at your place of work, then you should take it. Taking a risk takes courage and confidence, but it is always worth it.
