My Last Day Without You. WS Merwin - Even Though the Whole World is Burning. We’ll start with a film with a built-in fan base a feature-length documentary on renowned poet and environmental activist W.S. Merwin. To last a lifetime. I wrote and directed my first feature film in 2004. Since then I’ve written, directed and/or produced 12 films, an average of 1.5 films per year. I intend to keep up this pace for the next 40 years, if not longer. Get involved with the film in active production.
