On the night of Ruby’s blessing, there were nearly four hundred people gathered in this sanctuary. Of those people, two parents, two grandparents and an auntie sat proudly with eyes only for one smiling nine month old. Inspirational tools to create life balance in your everyday. So much of our time now. Is spent gazing towards you. Whispers of your birth down a phone line. And it feels like the silence. Waiting for you to sound. As if hiding in an eggshell. With only the sound of our breath. Until you shake, kick, hiccup. And a smile erupts. From my mother or father or sister. New acquaintance or friend. 8220;I felt it! 8221; they sing. And you connect for the first time. That you will gaze at. In under nine short weeks.

Inspirational tools to create life balance in your everyday. The day awakes like any other. The tide leans slow and lazy. Quiet clouds whisp by. And my bare feet against. The bounce in her step. And the billow of a topaz skirt. Catches it’s edge on a new petal. The layers peel off. With grey beards of dust. Emerge from their cave at the back of the closet.
