The Chronicles of a First Year Counselor

Friday, September 5, 2014. Our district has a HUGE push this year for teaching core values. We will focus on 2 values each 9 weeks, beginning with Respect and Responsibility (R&R). The teachers are actually responsible for teaching 3 core value lessons every 3 weeks. I LOVE this! Since I cannot be in the rooms every week for guidance, I think it is great that students will get regular reminders and lessons on these important character traits.
