What I Learned in Africa. 196 things I learned from my 196 days living in Ethiopia and Uganda. A while ago I spent over half a year in Africa–about three and a half months in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and about three months all over Uganda. In Ethiopia I taught language, music, and religion to a number of students. I spent time with an NGO doing language editing and development work. I studied Amharic and got to explore Ethiopia’s amazing culture on my downtime. I dedicate this blog to three groups of people:.
