Today is the last day of the first half of a century of living for me. Tomorrow at this time I will be waking and facing the fact that I am 50 years old. I take back all those times I didn't want to nap when I was younger. Saturday, July 13, 2013. My brother Bryan and I had so much fun on the "FlowRider" at Maverick's in Sunriver. This is a surfing simulator. While I can't say we are ready to catch a tube in the ocean, it was a unique experience and I definitely recommend it! I encountered a strange new phenomenon on my last visit to Las Vegas (in November). Truly, Vegas is home to many strange phenomena, but by my tenth visit I was accustomed to most.
