You've got wonderful bones, great eyes, and you dress really interestingly. Flyin’ with my WIP. April 26, 2015. Way jumping the gun here, but wanted to share a fun WIP that I’m trying to finish before the Monthly Stitch “Put A Bird On It” month ends. I’m mostly posting this to show Anne because it’s such a fun piece of fabric which she bestowed upon me. Anne’s brilliance is at www.prttynpnk.com by the way. Hope this inspires or otherwise entertains someone today. 4 responses ». April 27, 2015 at 1:51 am.

Happy Mardi Gras!!! | Cuckoo Chanel
https://cuckoochanel.wordpress.com/2015/02/17/happy-mardi-gras
You've got wonderful bones, great eyes, and you dress really interestingly. February 17, 2015. Trying something a little different and going the microblogging route, since I have so little to bring to the table in terms of sewing technique. I learned that word “microblog” when I decided to Google what the heck Tumblr is. I still don’t know, even though I have a Tumblr account. I finished off the ensemble with some killer Naughty Monkey shoes and my favorite new socks. And beads of course. I love it baby!

You've got wonderful bones, great eyes, and you dress really interestingly. A problem we can all handle–I hope. February 19, 2015. After several hours of organizing fabric, patterns, and other notions, and making almost zero progress, I spotted this on the I Love Sewing. Thanks, I Love Sewing, for feeling my pain and helping me feel less alone. That is all. Anyone out there have a similar experience lately? Anyone need a pep talk? I’m feeling peppier by the day. Colette Aster | Sew 2 Pro

A blog for steady progress from flops to couture. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. 8 July, 2015. Back in May when Colette introduced their latest pattern,. A few critics commented. The large buttons were ripped off an old Boden shirt. I think they contribute to a very ‘Eastern totalitarian regime’ look that I can’t help returning to from time to time. Even the blue is the exact shade of the envelopes used during my 10 years of growing up in Yugoslavia. Is a capitalist affectation!

Life’s short…. Language barrier no longer… March 3, 2008. 8212; mommy2five @ 1:04 pm. I think I am getting the hang of this new kind of slang gangsta talkity speak…. I thought a brick was something bricklayers used to make buildings, and houses, and shit, turns out it means that it is “cold”…as in “Turn up the heat, it’s brick in here! If you are “baggin'” you are actually out prowling for a “piece of ass”…not a donkey…and also…not putting your groceries in a bag...If somebody tells you you are a “...

Lyric's vintage style 1930s, 40s, and 50s! July 30, 2015. July 29, 2015. Once again the sewing bug bit me. There seems to be something about noon day lately that gives me a hankering to make something . . to wear that night nonetheless. The 1930s skirt. This project took about five hours to complete. A cool way to spend an afternoon, eh? Finally, I get to wear my 1930s skirt and my new shoes. The only thing missing was seamed pantyhose with a cuban heel. Bias binding – from stash. Let’s talk facing...

The Other Braided T-Shirt Rug Zig Zag Experiment! – Sewing.for.life!

Sewing . Quilting . Craft . Life. Weight Loss Journey Quilt Progress. What I’m Talking About! The Other Braided T-Shirt Rug Zig Zag Experiment! Remember my 2nd attempt at a little braided t-shirt rug I was working on? Yes… that one. All couch and chair slipcover aside! Isn’t it beautiful? I did stop and start a few times as it does take a little practice to make sure you squeeze the two edges together in the middle of the pressure foot. One of those bigger acrylic extension tables would probably work eve...
