Once Upon a Time. Wednesday, September 15, 2010. My blog has forsaken me. For those who follow on Facebook, it won't come as any surprise that my surgery date has come and gone and I am well into the final stages of recovery. Physical recovery at least. :-) I'm going back to work part time next week and then full time the week after. They started with some lovely songs about the IRA. Lucky for Afton she gets to hear Sean practice. Friday, March 15, 2013. Sean has been doing push ups and sit ups at home and Afton has been acting as personal trainer counting out reps and yelling "more" and "faster". Today she decided to do a few reps herself. I loved the sound and rhythm of the words and the way they combined to tell such an amazing story. I particularly loved these words, Fear not for behold I give you good tidings of great joy. . . Saturday, January 12, 2013. Went running/hiking today. The temps started around 20. By the time we finished, it was down to 18. The wind was brisk and we stayed in the trees for the most part. We did about 4 miles or so, saw 4 other runners - all going much faster than I. There were a few slippery places and we both wore Yax Trax so we didn't have any falls. Måndag 6 april 2015. Jag brinner för väldigt lite. Jag brinner för mina barn, det är nog det enda. Men mest av allt brinner jag på ett helt annat sätt. Jag brinner av skam. Jag skäms över så mycket. Jag skäms mest av allt över att jag mått dåligt väldigt länge. Sedan jag var ungefär fjorton år. Jag ville ingenting och orkade inte som andra. Jag hoppade av gymnasiet innan jag ens hunnit halvvägs.
