I'm a board gamer who is hesitant to play games where randomness or luck play a large part in determining the winner of the game. Why is this? There is nothing in that game to keep first-timers from winning. That can be good sometimes, but not all the time. And yet, I don't like the unpredictability of them. As opposed to graded randomness.
