We, along with, The Arizona Association for Foster and Adoptive Parents, tied over 17,000 ribbons in downtown Phoenix for the growing number of children in foster care. The Governor’s office, through the Arizona Serves. Initiative has provided lots of great resources you can use to bring awareness to your congregation. The Foster Care Participation Toolkit. Has data, maps, videos and bulletin inserts that can be helpful to explain the need to your congregation. NCW will also be providing Bible study resources to encourage your congregation to get involved through a small group setting. The most obvious is encouraging couples to become foster care or adoptive homes.
