Words just can't explain it…. Laquo; Mormons and abuse. How to respect your ward organist. Skeptics, Doubters, and Negativites. My good friend Jacob has recently posted questions on. Whether “tough questions” and “doubts” are tolerated in the church. I will answer that question here, and post the answer there as well. For the moment I will separate that question from it’s context, because I want to deal with the context separately. 8220;Is it okay to ask questions? 8221; I don’t think it is fair fo...

Words just can't explain it…. Laquo; Feel Good Songs: “Don’t Give Up”. Feel Good Songs: “Hark, I Hear the Harps Eternal- O Day Full of Grace”. I learned from my time in the Martin Luther Men’s Choir of Flatville, IL, that songs of praise can help carry you in times of sadness. Liz and I sang this song (but not this recording) in the Chorale. Praise the Lamb, Praise the great I am…. Hark, I hear the harps eternal. Ringing on the farther shore,. As I near those swollen waters,. Hallelujah, hallelujah,.

Words just can't explain it…. Laquo; The Road Not Taken. The Parable of the Mirror. The Problem with “Praise to the Man”. I think I quipped, “If we’re allowed to sing “Praise to the Man” we should also be allowed to sing “Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost.”. I’ve placed all of the text into categories, only one of which is positive, in my view. Blessed to open the last dispensation,. Kings shall extol him, and nations revere. Ever and ever the keys he will hold. Jesus annointed that Prophet and Seer.

Words just can't explain it…. Laquo; Feel Good Songs: “Hark, I Hear the Harps Eternal- O Day Full of Grace”. Skeptics, Doubters, and Negativites. However, there is something about institutional abuse I’ve found within Mormonism that I haven’t found elsewhere. Additionally, I’ve found more Mormons willing to rationalize, excuse, and in some cases, even promote the behavior, and this. Joseph and Buddha are Definitely Friends…. Mindfulness: A brief introduction. Are Questions ‘Okay’ in the Church? July 25, 2013. Labor of the firstborn. Preparing for Sacrament Meeting. March 12, 2015. An example of how to prepare for sacrament meeting. The Church provides many resources to help people improve their worship. One example is the music player resource located on the church’s website. So for instance if we had hymn number 133 for the opening hymn, we can have a link leading to the player for that song,. Members could click on it, and listen to it, maybe even singing the words along if they wish. Labor of the firstborn.
